FRANCE CONCERNED OVER LEBANON VIOLENCE: MINISTRY

PARIS, May 8, 2008 (AFP) - France described the renewed fighting in Lebanon as "worrying" and called for restraint there, in a statement issued by the French foreign ministry Thursday.
    "The situation unfolding since yesterday in Lebanon is worrying," it said. "France calls, more than ever, for restraint in both words and deeds and the resumption of officially-mediated dialogue."
